Unga Kan Habo is a non-profit organization founded in 2019. Based in Sweden, it aims at promoting youth engagement, active participation, and the empowerment of young people in various social, political, and economic fields.
Unga Kan Habo's mission is to create a favorable environment to youth empowerment by providing them with the necessary tools,
resources, skills, and opportunities to become agents of change in their society and beyond.
To increase opportunities for young people to be of service to themselves and others,
we plan to participate in projects within the Erasmus+ Programme and the European Solidarity Corps.
By committing to supporting young people in enriching European experiences, we foster their personal and professional development,
while promoting civic engagement and solidarity through concrete projects.
In addition to the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport,
we also wish to involve young people and the organization more in solidarity activities, primarily volunteering,
with the aim of strengthening cohesion, solidarity, democracy, European identity and active citizenship in the European Union and beyond,
by addressing societal and humanitarian challenges on the ground, and by promoting sustainable development, social inclusion and equal opportunities.
The organization operates in several priority areas such as education/training, health, poverty, drug abuse, juvenile delinquency, integration, art, sports, culture, ICT, and the environment.
